What's in it for the hosting business?

You get the monthly data portion of your ISP bill paid for (either paid to you or directly to the ISP on your behalf.

Also, your customers whose phones don't automatically connect can choose the 'Helium Free Wi-Fi' network, and access the internet for free after supplying a few pieces of information.

What’s in it for Interloop Solutions?

This is an experiment on the part of several mobile networks. We get paid by the cellular companies for the data their customers transfer when their phones automatically connect to the hotspot.

What time period do I have to commit to?

The hosting business and Interloop Solutions each have the right to terminate this relationship at any time. The only thing we ask is that you leave the hotspot in place for the duration of the ISP billing period already paid for.

Where should the wireless device be placed?

The wireless access point (AP) should be placed in area where it has direct line of sight to users of mobile devices - such as on top of a counter or shelf, or mounted from the ceiling. It should not be placed inside a cabinet hidden or hidden behind other equipment, as this would impede the communication between it and your customers’ devices.
